Continent: Asia
China is the only country where pandas can be found in the wild, and the space they have there has been getting smaller and smaller. The ever growing population has forced the pandas further up the mountains. It’s a big country, with an even bigger population. Recently, China's economy has been growing in great leaps. This will affect the giant pandas, even with the precautions being taken. Even more people than before will have to be fit in the country, and not only panda habitat, but also other habitats will suffer. Recently China has been helping keep the giant panda alive. Their habitat has been added to the World Heritage Sites, factories and buildings are being removed from the panda habitat, and plans are being made to connect the fragmented habitats. There is a very heavy penalty for poaching, and the only way outside countries can get access to a panda is if China gives it to them. It’s a country full of culture, in which the panda is included, and it would be sad to see that disappear. Leave some feeback! I like to know what people think.
